While you saw Julia Stiles in Silver Linings Playbook and thought she stole the show, she also spent this year making a Hallmark movie called The Makeover, where she takes a dirty Joe Schmoe (played by serial cancelled-series-lead David Walton) and turns him into a serious candidate for office. Which could totally happen in this day and age so the premise isn’t even the problem with this movie.
The problem is that this 2010 Natasha Bedingfield song is chosen for every movie trailer ever these days. It is the new “Breathe” by Michelle Branch.
Anyhow, The Makeover is based off George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalian, BUT, “The Makeover gives Pygmalion several contemporary twists; most notably, changing the genders of all the main characters.” Woah. Rocking my world.
