Smart Girls Who Do Stupid Things

Emma was born and raised in New York City, attended Stuyvesant High School, and now studies English and History at the University of Chicago. In the future she hopes to become a novelist; perhaps she will combine the skills garnered from her two very lucrative degrees and write historical fiction, but this is unlikely (though slightly more plausible than when she used to want to be both a writer and a cook and people told her unhelpfully that she should write cookbooks). Emma’s hobbies include TV marathons and a recently resurgent obsession with Harry Potter that she satiates by re-reading the series through typo-ridden online e-books, as she has unfortunately left her copies of the books at home in New York.
